crabbox-setup

Scaffold an isolated CLOUD dev box per agent (via crabbox + Daytona) for any codebase — the parallel-safe counterpart to dev-local-setup. Each agent gets its own full stack (own DB + dev server) and an in-box browser for e2e, so concurrent loops never collide on ports/state. Sets up the snapshot image, .crabbox.yaml, an idempotent setup.sh (also boots the stack locally), and a cbx.sh wrapper. Use when the user says "set up crabbox", "give each agent its own box", "add cloud testing", "make this repo testable in the cloud / on Daytona", "parallel-test this", or when setup-codebase-harness needs true per-agent isolation.

Content

100%Weight 40%Scale 1-5

Reviews the quality of instructions and guidance provided to agents. Good implementation is clear, handles edge cases, and produces reliable results.

A lean, highly actionable workflow with clear sequencing, explicit verification checkpoints, and well-structured one-level-deep references to real bundle files. It avoids over-explanation and gives copy-paste commands throughout.

DimensionReasoningScore

Conciseness

Dense and operational with no padding or explanation of concepts Claude already knows (Docker, Daytona, Playwright); every line earns its place, including the gotchas which carry non-obvious pitfall information.

5 / 5

Actionability

Provides copy-paste-ready commands (daytona snapshot create, bash cbx.sh up/tunnel/pw/get/down) and concrete file paths to copy from assets/, covering the common cases end to end.

5 / 5

Workflow Clarity

Steps 0–7 are clearly sequenced with an explicit Verify step (Step 7), a STACK READY checkpoint the wrapper waits for, and a cbx.sh down billing guard, so the destructive/batch cloud-box workflow has validation rather than missing it.

5 / 5

Progressive Disclosure

The body is a well-signaled overview pointing one level deep to real templates in assets/ (Dockerfile, crabbox.yaml, setup.sh, cbx.sh, cli.config.json — all present), with content appropriately split between overview and bundle.

Description

100%Weight 40%Scale 1-5

Based on the skill's description, can an agent find and select it at the right time? Clear, specific descriptions lead to better discovery.

A strong, specific description that clearly states concrete deliverables and provides explicit natural-language triggers in third person. It is clearly distinguishable from sibling skills and answers both what and when.

DimensionReasoningScore

Specificity

Names multiple concrete actions and artifacts — scaffolds an isolated cloud box per agent with own DB + dev server and in-box browser, and sets up the snapshot image, .crabbox.yaml, an idempotent setup.sh, and a cbx.sh wrapper.

5 / 5

Completeness

Explicitly answers both what (scaffold isolated cloud dev box + named files) and when (a Use-when clause with concrete trigger phrases), in third-person voice.

5 / 5

Trigger Term Quality

Lists natural phrases a user would actually say — "set up crabbox", "give each agent its own box", "add cloud testing", "make this repo testable in the cloud / on Daytona", "parallel-test this" — with good synonym coverage.

5 / 5

Distinctiveness Conflict Risk

Occupies a clear niche — the parallel-safe cloud counterpart to dev-local-setup — with distinct triggers and minimal overlap risk with other skills.
