Research Quality Standards

  • Source recency: Prefer sources from the last 12 months; flag anything older than 2 years.
  • Source diversity: Use at least 3 different source types per major claim (e.g., news + review site + industry report).
  • Explicit uncertainty: Always state confidence level and flag where data is thin or conflicting.
  • No speculation: All claims must be sourced and cross-validated; do not go beyond available data. If a specific statistic cannot be verified, say so explicitly.
