Field Engineering Leader · SpaceXAI

Shivam Jindal is a Field Engineering leader at SpaceXAI. There he has worked with some of the largest organizations on their most complex engineering initiatives - large scale software migrations, adapting their engineering organizations to the age of agentic development, and redesigning their SDLC with Cloud Agents, Grok Bot, and the full SpaceXAI suite of products.

How SpaceXAI Uses Cursor

Software delivery at SpaceXAI no longer looks like a person writing a PR and waiting on a queue. A majority of our merged PRs are fully done by cloud agents, end to end. In nine months, PR volume grew 5x. That is how a small team ships Origin, a new take on GitHub, and Grok Bot, a general-purpose worker, without slowing down the core product.

Faster coding just moved the bottleneck. Review, CI, security, and ownership still had to happen, and they could not scale as a human queue. So we automated those loops, and left people on the work that actually needs judgment.

Most of it runs in the background. Long-running cloud agents sit on their own machines for hours: a Slack thread, incident, a ticket, or a red build starts one, it investigates and reproduces, then it opens a PR. Other agents review for bugs and security and size the risk. If CI fails, another agent reads the logs and failed tests and tries a fix. Low-risk PRs can self-drive through merge.

This is the factory we run internally.
