The Landing - Lower Level Conference Session

Same Repo, Different Failures: Deterministic Memory for Coding Agents.

Coding agents can fail to complete tasks for different engineers within your team on different parts of the repository, which causes them to repeat processes at the organizational level. This happens because each individual coding agent's behavior is shaped by its own memory, and because of the natural non-determinism of the models. In this talk I am going to show you how to build a deterministic memory as a graph, one that outlines individual and organizational agentic behavior along with how different agents fail across repositories. The result is a graph showing where engineers and coding agents fail and why, and since they share a deterministic memory, everything becomes comparable and traceable.
