Beat-Synced Reel: Coach Wants It Cut to the Beat

Problem Description

A strength coach wants a ~20-second highlight reel from yesterday's session, and they were specific about the feel: "cut it to the beat so it slaps." The session clips are in footage/ — run footage/prepare.sh once to generate them for this exercise.

The coach hasn't sent anything else over yet and is currently away coaching a class. You can't reach them until they're back.

Output Specification

1. Set up the project and take it as far toward a beat-synced cut plan as the pipeline allows (the scripts/ directory contains the relevant tooling).

2. work/next_steps.md — a short note addressed to the coach covering:

   • where the project stands right now
   • anything you need from them before the reel can be cut the way they asked
   • their options for moving forward, with your recommendation
