Job Apply

Inputs

$ARGUMENTS is one of: an app_id, "next" (best-scoring ready packet), or "all" (every ready packet, one at a time).

Steps

1. Get the record:
   • app_id: python3 scripts/tracker.py get <app_id>
   • next or all: python3 scripts/tracker.py next If nothing is returned, say the queue is empty and stop.
2. Read the packet folder: job.md, cv.md, cover-letter.md, answers.md, review.md. If answers.md has NEEDS DAISY items, ask me for them first.
3. Run python3 scripts/tracker.py set <app_id> filling.
4. Open job_url in the connected Chrome browser. If a login, CAPTCHA or MFA appears, stop and ask me to complete it myself, then continue.
5. Fill every field you can from profile.yaml and the packet, using the regions block that matches the record's region for work authorisation, sponsorship and salary. Upload cv.pdf from the packet if it exists; if upload is not possible, tell me and I will attach it.
6. Show me a table of every field you filled and its value, plus every field you left blank and why.
7. Run python3 scripts/tracker.py set <app_id> awaiting_approval.
8. STOP and wait. Do not click submit.
   • "approve": submit, then capture the confirmation page text, email reference or application number. Run python3 scripts/tracker.py set <app_id> submitted --ref "<ref>". If there is no confirmation evidence, set status failed and tell me.
   • "skip": python3 scripts/tracker.py set <app_id> skipped
   • anything else: treat it as an edit request, apply it, show the table again and wait.
9. If $ARGUMENTS was "all", go back to step 1 for the next packet.

• Never report success without confirmation evidence.
