Competitor Watch

Your competitors are making moves every week — changing prices, launching features, hiring for new roles, updating their messaging. Most of the time, you find out too late. Competitor Watch monitors the URLs and social accounts you care about, detects meaningful changes (not just typo fixes), and sends you a plain-English summary of what happened and what it might mean for your business.

What It Does

  • Monitors competitor websites (pricing pages, feature lists, blogs, careers) for meaningful content changes
  • Filters out noise (minor CSS tweaks, footer updates) and highlights strategic changes you should know about
  • Sends instant alerts or weekly digest summaries with context on why the change matters

How It Works

  1. Add the competitor URLs you want to watch during setup.
  2. Choose monitoring frequency and what types of changes matter to you.
  3. Get alerts when something meaningful changes, with a plain-English summary of what's different.

Works With

  • Any public website (no login required)
  • Twitter/X, LinkedIn (public profiles)
  • Product Hunt
  • Slack, Email, Discord (alert delivery)

Example Usage

COMPETITOR ALERT — Acme Corp (acme.io)

CHANGE DETECTED: Pricing page updated
TIME: March 11, 2:15 PM

WHAT CHANGED:
  - "Pro" plan: $49/mo -> $39/mo (20% decrease)
  - New "Enterprise" tier added at $199/mo
  - Free trial extended from 7 days to 14 days
  - Removed "unlimited users" from Pro plan (now capped at 10)

WHY THIS MATTERS:
They're likely responding to churn on their Pro plan by lowering
the price while moving high-usage teams toward Enterprise. The
longer free trial suggests they're struggling with conversion.

RECOMMENDED ACTIONS:
  - Review your own Pro pricing competitiveness
  - Highlight "unlimited users" in your sales materials (they dropped it)
  - Monitor if their trial extension affects your pipeline
