10%Weight 40%Scale 1-5Reviews the quality of instructions and guidance provided to agents. Good implementation is clear, handles edge cases, and produces reliable results.
This is a persona/resume-style document rather than an actionable skill: nearly all of the body is padded enumeration of iOS knowledge Claude already has, with zero code, commands, or concrete workflows, and a dangling reference to a missing file. It fails both the token-efficiency and actionability goals of a SKILL.md body.
Suggestions
Delete the Capabilities, Behavioral Traits, Knowledge Base, and Example Interactions catalogs (or move genuinely needed detail to a references/ file) and keep only instructions Claude could not derive itself.
Add concrete, executable guidance for the most common tasks, e.g., a Swift Package build/test command, an XCTest example, or a concrete SwiftUI pattern with code — instead of directives like "Provide production-ready Swift code".
Fix or remove the reference to `resources/implementation-playbook.md`, which does not exist in the bundle, and either create the file or drop the pointer; if version-specific details are kept, isolate them so stale version numbers don't pollute the body.
| Dimension | Reasoning | Score |
|---|---|---|
Conciseness | The ~200-line body is severely padded: it enumerates iOS knowledge Claude already possesses (e.g., "SwiftUI declarative UI framework with iOS 18 enhancements", "Keychain Services for secure data storage", "State management with @State, @Binding") plus generic boilerplate ("Working on ios developer tasks"), adding almost nothing Claude does not know. Time-sensitive version numbers ("Swift 6", "iOS 18", "Xcode 16", "SwiftUI 5.0+") are scattered throughout with no 'old patterns' or 'deprecated' section, compounding the penalty. | 1 / 5 |
Actionability | There is no code, command, or executable guidance anywhere; instructions like "Apply relevant best practices and validate outcomes" and "Provide production-ready Swift code with proper error handling" are abstract directives that only describe rather than instruct. This squarely matches the anchor for entirely vague or abstract content with no concrete code or commands. | 1 / 5 |
Workflow Clarity | A rough abstract sequence exists ("Clarify goals... Apply relevant best practices... Provide actionable steps" and the 8-step "Response Approach"), but steps are generic, task-agnostic, and lack any concrete commands, while validation is mentioned only as a buzzword with no checkpoints. Not a 1 because sequences are present and coherent; not a 3 because the steps do not map to any actual iOS workflow with defined sequence or checkpoints. | 2 / 5 |
Progressive Disclosure | No bundle files exist (no references/, scripts/, or assets/ directories), yet the body's only reference — "open `resources/implementation-playbook.md`" — points to a nonexistent file, and the capability catalogs that clearly belong in separate reference files are inlined as a monolithic ~190-line block. It has section headers (so not the 1 anchor's 'no structure'), matching the 2 anchor for inlined content that belongs in separate files. | 2 / 5 |
