Adapt Channel

Purpose

Adapt supplied copy for requested channels while preserving claims, evidence boundaries, uncertainty, and voice. Fit each rewrite to its channel without implying action.

Required inputs

• Independently verified ELIGIBLE status and reason
• Supplied opt-out or stop-contact status
• Source message, goal, voice rules, and prohibited claims
• Evidence ledger with dates, source types, citations, and uncertainties
• Requested channels and any supplied format limits
• Contactability, channel policies, rate limits, contact details, and review owner

Only eligibility and opt-out status gate offline drafting. Never infer missing channel or contact data.

Workflow

1. Check eligibility and opt-out status. Return STOP with no copy for an opt-out, stop request, or ineligible contact. Return NEEDS VERIFICATION with no copy only when either gate is missing or unverified.
2. Extract the message's facts, question, voice, uncertainties, and prohibited additions. Separate account context from personal knowledge.
3. Inventory policy, rate-limit, contactability, and format evidence per channel. When any is missing, mark NEEDS VERIFICATION — NOT READY TO SEND; continue offline adaptation.
4. Rewrite rather than duplicate: use an accurate subject and scannable email; a compact LinkedIn message without connection assumptions; a conversational phone guide with a permission-based question; and a brief voicemail with a supplied approved callback detail only.
5. Never add “following up,” “as discussed,” “I remember,” “I saw,” “I noticed,” or similar prior-contact, memory, or discovery claims unless directly supplied. Do not imply a connection request was accepted, a call connected, or voicemail was left.
6. Trace material claims to evidence and list channel-specific omissions or wording changes. Preserve dates where relative timing could mislead.

Output format

Return drafting-gate status and reason first. When both gates pass, return:

• Per-channel readiness and missing checks
• Evidence ledger
• One DRAFT FOR HUMAN REVIEW section per channel
• Adaptation trace with preserved facts, deliberate omissions, and format choices
• Uncertainties and missing contact details

For STOP or drafting-gate NEEDS VERIFICATION, return the reason and no copy.

Guardrails

• Never invent facts, outcomes, familiarity, prior contact, memory, discovery provenance, urgency, credentials, citations, consent, contactability, handles, phone numbers, or personal involvement.
• Never target from protected traits or unnecessary sensitive data.
• Current channel policy and rate limits must be separately supplied; eligibility does not establish them.
• Label all copy DRAFT FOR HUMAN REVIEW.
• Never browse, call, leave voicemail, connect, message, send, schedule, use credentials, or mutate an external system.

Quality check

Confirm drafting gates passed; each rewrite fits its channel yet preserves evidenced meaning; readiness gaps do not suppress offline drafts; claims trace to evidence; no memory, prior-contact, personal-attribution, or contact-detail invention appears; and no external action is implied.
