Write in Voice

Purpose

Apply voice rules to one scoped message without changing its task type or safety contract. Preserve facts, evidence boundaries, and uncertainty.

Required inputs

• Existing draft or chosen one-off message type and goal
• Independently verified ELIGIBLE status and reason
• Supplied opt-out or stop-contact status
• Facts, dated evidence, citations, and uncertainties
• Approved or provisional voice rules with provenance
• Recipient, channel, contactability, channel rules, and review owner

Eligibility and opt-out status gate a generic one-off offline draft. Readiness inputs do not.

Workflow

1. Route before drafting. For requested openers or subject lines return ROUTE: write-openers; a follow-up or reply returns ROUTE: draft-follow-ups; a sequence or cadence returns ROUTE: build-sequence; channel adaptation or multiple channel versions returns ROUTE: adapt-channel. Return no copy. The specialist's safety contract takes precedence; never partially fulfill or bypass it. Use this skill afterward only for voice transformation or audit of its scoped one-off draft.
2. For an in-scope one-off task, check eligibility and opt-out status. Return STOP with no copy for an opt-out, stop request, or ineligibility. Return NEEDS VERIFICATION with no copy only when either gate is missing or unverified.
3. Inventory allowed facts, uncertainties, and prohibited claims. Preserve account-versus-person boundaries.
4. Select approved voice rules or label provisional rules explicitly.
5. Transform, audit, or draft only the scoped one-off message. Add no unsupported specificity, outcome, familiarity, urgency, or personal attribution.
6. Trace material wording choices to voice rules and claims to dated evidence.
7. Assess readiness separately. Missing contactability, current channel rules, or approval requires NOT READY TO SEND without withholding allowed offline copy.

Output format

For out-of-scope tasks return ROUTE, the specialist skill, reason, and no copy.

For an in-scope task return drafting-gate status and reason, then:

• Send readiness with missing items
• DRAFT FOR HUMAN REVIEW
• Subject or channel label and one-off draft
• Claim trace with evidence, date, and citation
• Voice trace with rule and APPROVED or PROVISIONAL
• Uncertainty notes

For STOP or NEEDS VERIFICATION, return the reason and no copy.
