Low-risk findings.
1 low severity finding. Worth noting, but not necessarily harmful.
The skill exposes the agent to untrusted, user-generated content from public third-party sources, creating a risk of indirect prompt injection. This includes browsing arbitrary URLs, reading social media posts or forum comments, and analyzing content from unknown websites.
SKILL.md’s required runtime workflow takes a user-supplied “research question” as a parameter to orchestrate.sh via the Bash tool and then reads only the provider-generated synthesis file from ~/.claude-octopus/results (outsider free text injection risk depends on what orchestrate.sh fetches, but the workflow itself ingests the user’s arbitrary question directly into orchestrate.sh without selecting a specific item first).
