tessl-labs/factory

Skills that Tessl factory loops run: implement a Linear or GitHub issue as a pull request, shepherd that pull request through review and checks, wake the shepherd for pull requests that a push to their base branch left in conflict, and keep the work in step when a person stops, ends, answers or closes it.

Factory

The skills a Tessl factory runs to turn tickets into pull requests. Give Tessl a Linear issue or a labeled GitHub issue, and an agent in Tessl's cloud opens a pull request for it, then answers reviews and fixes failing checks until it's ready for you.

You don't install this plugin yourself. The factory's automations run it. To set up a factory, use the Tessl web app or the tessl-labs/factory-setup plugin.

Skills

  • implement-linear and implement-github-issue: implement an issue and open one pull request for it.
  • shepherd: answer review feedback, fix failing checks and conflicts, and tell the owner when the pull request is ready.
  • merge-conflict-sweep: after a push to the base branch, start a shepherd round for each Tessl pull request the push left in conflict. Opt-in, for factories set up in tessl.json.
  • follow-ticket-changes: keep the work in step when a person takes an issue back, closes it, or answers a question Tessl asked.
