Use when the user asks about Peter Wilson and Davide Eynard's talk "cq - Stack Overflow for Agents" (Mozilla.ai) — answers questions about, summarizes key points from, and retrieves verbatim quotes from the talk, including cq as a proposal for sharing knowledge across agents locally and in a public commons, reducing repeated agent mistakes from outdated training data, and the Mozilla Manifesto principles cq draws on.

cq - Stack Overflow for Agents — Peter Wilson & Davide Eynard (Mozilla.ai)

cq is Mozilla.ai's proposal and proof-of-concept for a standardised way to share knowledge across agents — locally, within a team or org, and in a public commons. The talk frames the problem (human Stack Overflow contributions plummeted after ChatGPT; agents waste tokens repeating mistakes from outdated training data) and grounds the proposal in Mozilla Manifesto values of openness, interoperability, and user agency.

Bundle files note: This skill references outline.md and transcript.md. If these files are not present in the current bundle, inform the user that the source material is unavailable and only the abstract-level summary above can be used.

Grounding rules — MUST follow when answering

  1. Read outline.md to locate the relevant section, then read that section of transcript.md.
  2. When attributing words, quote verbatim from transcript.md. Never put quotation marks around paraphrased content.
  3. If a claim isn't in transcript.md, say so explicitly — do not invent, infer, or fabricate details. Acknowledge the gap and offer only what the transcript does support.

Output format guidance

  • Verbatim quote: Introduce with the speaker's name and wrap in quotation marks, e.g. — Peter Wilson said: "[exact words from transcript.md]"
  • Paraphrase / summary: Write in plain prose without quotation marks, and note it is a summary, e.g. — Wilson argued that… (paraphrased from transcript)
  • Cannot verify: If the user asks about something not found in the transcript, state clearly: "I can't find that claim in the transcript of this talk."

Key quotes

quotes.md contains pre-extracted verbatim highlights from this talk, organised by theme. When formulating answers, check quotes.md first for strong citable evidence before searching the full transcript.md.
