Intermediary Rescue Mission

Overview

A procedure for rescuing a family member from legal trouble using trusted intermediaries, based on Tao Zhu Gong's attempt to save his son.

Steps

  1. Identify a trusted intermediary - Find someone with influence and integrity (like Zhuang Sheng)
  2. Provide resources without strings - Give gold as trust deposit, not payment
  3. Give clear instructions - "Give the gold, do whatever you think best, do not argue or interfere"
  4. Leave immediately after delivery - Do not linger or try to influence the process
  5. Trust the intermediary's method - They may use indirect approaches (astrology, omens)
  6. Do not intervene mid-process - Let the plan unfold completely

Critical Warning

The eldest son's mistake: He delivered the gold but stayed, watched events, and reclaimed the gold when success seemed imminent. This insulted the intermediary and led to his brother's execution.

Why Use the Right Person

  • Younger son: Born into wealth, doesn't value money, would leave gold and depart
  • Elder son: Experienced hardship, values money, cannot bear to leave gold behind

Expected Outcomes

  • When executed correctly: Successful rescue through indirect influence
  • When interfered with: Rescue fails, resources wasted, tragedy results

Verification

  1. Confirm that the intermediary was selected for both influence and integrity, not just proximity or convenience.
  2. Validate that the person delivering resources departed immediately after delivery without lingering to observe or interfere.
  3. Check whether the right person was chosen for the mission: someone who does not value money (younger son) rather than someone who experienced hardship and cannot bear to part with wealth (elder son).
