Steps

1. Acknowledge the disparity - Recognize the gap between leader comfort and follower suffering
2. Calculate the stakes - Understand that if the organization falls, personal wealth becomes meaningless
3. Redistribute luxury resources - Share food, clothing, and comfort items with those in need
4. Personal involvement - Have family members participate directly in support roles
5. Commit all resources - Distribute personal wealth to support the collective effort
6. Form elite units - Use redistributed resources to attract and equip dedicated volunteers
7. Lead from the front - Join or support the most dangerous operations personally

3. Apply the key insight test: "if the state is destroyed, how will you keep your wealth?" — if the answer is "you won't," then full commitment is rational, not merely heroic
